THE MAIN INGREDIENTS (H2OH PROJECT #1)
Bob Hausler
Bob is one of these musicians that they call a “Musicians’ Musician.” He is an Award winning singer, songwriter, guitarist, and entertainer that has been playing Country and Folk music for years. As a “Musicians’ Musician” Bob came to the attention of the other folks involved in this project, thus the beginning of H2OH.
Bob is so passionate about playing that he has performed for thousands, in intimate venues and in his own home.
Daryl Hayott, Sr.
Daryl is a self-taught musician and multi-instrumentalist who plays drums, bass, percussion instruments, keyboards and trumpet. As a teenager in New York City Hayott became a session drummer and occasional bass player for Electric Lady Studios. Shortly thereafter, he was signed by Warner Brothers and toured with the international group Osibissa.
He has performed or jammed with some of the biggest names in the music industry and continues to do so.
James Kirk
I write this in the hope that James may not see it. You see, if he would just shout out how talented he is from the rooftops he would be building a legendary career – instead he lets his extraordinary talent speak for itself while remaining humble. Luckily (for them), many do know, and have worked with James, including ex members of Sun Ra, Count Basie, Louis Armstrong, Inkspots; Poets Allen Ginsburg, Cindy Salach; Composers Marco Brezza, Gene Coleman, Pascal Morel, Turkantam and blues artists- Otis Rush, Albert Collins, Hubert Sumlin, and Honeyboy Edwards.
This is just a small sample of Mr. Kirk’s work. For those that are able to donate enough to be invited to online discussions, sessions, dinners, etc. we will fill you in.
Tomaca Govan
Tomaca’s background may be the easiest to tell you about. She sings opera, gospel, jazz, R&B and a bit of rock.
PLUS there may be some surprise musicians participating that we cannot announce until schedules are worked out.
